Graduated in Industrial Biotechnology from the University of Turin and is a member of the Order of Biologists. She began her career in the biotech/pharmaceutical world, first for Siena Biotech and then for Creabilis Therapeutics, where she held various positions in R&D and Business Development. In 2011, he joined Sorin in Saluggia, which later became LivaNova. He worked in medical device development for several companies in the industry, including Biotronik (Bülach (ZH), Switzerland). In 2018, she founded Niu Consulting, a regulatory consultancy for the medical device industry. Chiara specialises in biological safety assessment of new and innovative medical devices. She has led several cross-functional teams focused on the development of innovative new products, from idea generation to product launch on the market. She supervised a laboratory dedicated to the development and implementation of biological/biochemical tests (both in vitro and in vivo) for drug discovery and activity testing of pharmaceutical compounds. He is a jury member of the European Innovation Council and works as an expert evaluator for the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency.
