Graduated in Management Engineering from Politecnico di Torino with an MBA from Insead, CFA and CAIA professional qualifications, Matteo started his career as a quant (financial engineer) in the London office of Goldman Sachs. After a brief stint in strategy consulting with OC&C, he worked on Strategy at Barclays Capital. He then began a 15-year career with UBS, between Zurich and Hong Kong, working in Strategy, Business Development and more recently Corporate Venture Capital and Innovation, having founded CVC UBS Next. He currently lives in Zurich where he also mentors startups.
