Mattia holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin and an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona. He started his career at Italdesign-Giugiaro, a global engineering and design company for car manufacturers. After his MBA, he moved to Booz & Company (now Strategy&) as a strategy and management consultant. Subsequently, Mattia co-founded Oceanis Partners, a private equity advisory firm, where he managed growth equity transactions. Currently, he serves as CEO and board member of Green Coast Enterprises, a family-owned holding and family office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, he oversees strategic direction, capital allocation and investment planning for a diversified portfolio. Mattia has lived outside Italy since 2001 and has been based in Dubai (UAE) since 2008. On a personal basis, he has invested in four start-ups and three venture capital funds.
