A graduate in Physics from the University of Turin, Master in Management of Innovation at the Scuola Superiore S. Anna in Pisa, he has always been passionately involved in business creation. He was general manager of the company Rete Ventures, where he managed the programme for the creation of spin-off companies from the INFM, INSTM, CSGI and CNR research institutes. He carried out venture capital activities as a founding partner and member of the management team of Quantica SGR, then Principia SGR operating in various high-tech sectors. He is an entrepreneur in the medical sector: he founded and launched the startup NISO Biomed, developing and bringing to the digestive endoscopy market the device for real-time identification of preneoplastic lesions of the stomach during the gastroscopy procedure.
