After a degree in mechanical engineering from the Politecico di Torino, Alberto Bertagnolio began his career in the field of raw materials extraction, where he held important managerial positions, eventually becoming CFO of a leading company in the plastics sector.

Alberto was also a lecturer at the Politecnico di Torino, an amateur skier and tennis player.
