Graduated from Politecnico di Torino in 1993 and with an MBA from Michigan State University, Alberto started his activity in France as a consultant in industrial plant start-up at large companies (Peugeot, Matra) and then moved on to business development roles in Italy and the United States (Comau, Key Safety Systems, Bystronic Laser AG) up to commercial management functions. In 2010 he founded his own consulting firm to assist SMEs, university spin-offs and start-ups in their go-to-market approach. A “serial” Business Angel, to date he has invested in more than 25 start-ups and venture capital initiatives. He is currently one of the promoting partners of Excellis, a holding company in companies founded by Italian researchers abroad.
