Graduated in Economics at La Sapienza, he started as Audit Manager at Price Waterhouse, then as Administrative and Financial Director at TOP S.I.M., dealing with securities brokerage. After that, he became Senior Consultant at Studio Legale Tributario Associato Fantozzi-Biscozzi with a focus on organisational restructuring. A few years later, he moved to CITEC Spa, a leading company in advanced voice and data processing systems, where he was Director of Administration, Finance, Management Control and Human Resources. After some experience as Partner in Accountancy Firms, he became Equity Partner of Grimaldi Alliance. In March 2023 he founded his own firm, Tron & Associati. He is professor of Corporate Finance at the University of Turin, the University of Pisa and the Bocconi University of Milan.
