Graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Witten/Herdecke, he has more than 25 years of experience in private equity, M&A and corporate strategy. He started his career in investment banking at JPMorgan. Most recently, he worked as Managing Director at EQT, a leading private equity fund. He was responsible for transactions and the support and development of portfolio companies in Europe, the US and Asia, in a variety of sectors. Since leaving EQT, he has gone on to invest in more than 30 start-ups and SMEs on his own. For the Club degli Investitori he is ‘Champion’ of Zaphiro and Shop Circle.
