Dario Calogero is an entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in technology, sustainability, and innovation. For more than twenty years, he has led Maya Investments, a firm that backs scalable, high-impact solutions in the fields of digital technology, education, and the environment.He is the founder of Kaleyra Inc. (formerly Ubiquity), a global mobile communications company that was listed on the NYSE in 2019 and acquired by Tata Communications in 2023. Dario currently holds several strategic leadership roles: he serves as Senior Advisor to the CEO of D-Orbit, a leading space company; Vice President of VIOLA, an app combating street and gender-based violence; and Board Member of TrueLeap, an EdTech platform enhancing global access to education. He also sits on the Investment Committee of FoolFarm, a startup studio specializing in artificial intelligence, and since 2015 has been a Board Member of ISPI, one of Italy’s foremost geopolitical think tanks. Passionate about mentorship, he actively supports entrepreneurs and initiatives that foster inclusion, creativity, and excellence. In 2020, he was awarded the title of Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
