Graduated in Economics from the City University of London, he started his career in Barcelona, working for an American multinational (Ingram Micro) – world leader in IT distribution. In 2003, he returned to Italy to turn-around a small industrial machinery manufacturer (Laem System) in Casale Monferrato in the Flexible Packaging Converting sector. Today the company belongs to IMS Technologies, part of the CoeClerici Group. It invested in 2006 in Poland in Eurocast, a fledgling plastic film extrusion factory, a company that has grown enormously over the years and has become a major European player in the extrusion of plastic materials (APET, CPP, PE) and in the metallisation and lamination of state-of-the-art products mainly for the food industry.
