Graduated in Economics from the University of Turin, he began his professional career in 1985 at Olivetti, where he worked for some years in the planning and control area. In 1989 he joined Baglioni Spa, a company specializing in the design and production of pressure equipment, a reality with 1,000 employees and factories in Italy, USA and China, of which today he is CEO and reference shareholder. He was President of the Calderia Constructors Union (2003–07), Vice President of ANIMA (2007-08) and since 2005 he is Council Member of PNEUROP, the European association of manufacturers of products and accessories for the gas, compressed air and vacuum industry. .
