Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and MBA from Columbia Business School in New York. His career began in banking with Capitalia in New York and then continued in the derivatives market on behalf of international financial brokerage firms. His leap into the FinTech world came when he joined the management team of Bloomberg, where he held various roles until he led the “Real-time Data, Analytics & Enterprise Solutions” division. Most recently, he was co-founder and COO of Athena Art Finance, a portfolio company of Carlyle and Pictet Private Equity. He participated in the exit by sale to Yieldstreet, an alternative finance platform. Today he is co-founder and Managing Partner of Artem Advisors, an advisory boutique specialising in FinTech, InsurTech and WeatherTech, facilitating the access of European SMEs and startups to the US market. He is an active angel investor, mentor and member of the Investment Committee of Columbia University Angels (CAN).
