Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Milan Polytechnic, he began his career in France, in the automotive components sector at Valeo; later, returning to Italy, he worked for Piaggio & C. for about 5 years and, after a brief experience at McKinsey &Co., he worked in the Camfin – Pirelli group for a further 10 years. In 2007, he started working in the investment business, joining Ambienta SGR, today the largest European Private Equity fund among those specialised in the Sustainability sector, as partner, advisor and partner. In 2012 he moved to Fondo Strategico Italiano (CDP Group), holding increasing responsibilities until he became Managing Director and General Manager of CDP Equity, the CDP Group’s equity holding company with a net worth of over €3.5 billion at the time. Since 2019 he has been Managing Partner and General Manager of Wepartner Spa. During his career, he has held various positions as a director of listed and unlisted companies and has invested directly in several companies in the Venture and Growth stage.
