Graduated in Engineering from Turin Polytechnic, MBA from Bocconi and London Business School. Started as a consultant at two boutique consulting firms, where he developed organisation and management accounting projects in the retail and fashion sectors. In 2005 he joined the Boston Consulting Group as regional head of the Energy practice for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South America. He heads the Climate & Sustainability practice for East Med and Caspian. In the EPC field for oil and gas and energy, Marco has worked on many strategic transformation, decarbonisation and diagnostic projects around the world. In the field of refining and petrochemicals, he has been involved in several major transformation programmes for different clients, including digital transformation, operational excellence, energy efficiency and asset management.
