With a degree in Economics from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, an MBA from Politecnico di Milano and a Master’s degree in finance from Switzerland, Matteo worked in the semiconductor industry for a world-leading company following the development and marketing of high-tech consumer and professional products (embedded, automotive, defence), with companies in Europe and the Middle East. He then moved to Lugano to work at Switzerland’s first private bank. Since 2021, he has been following private equity investments, mainly in the canton of Ticino, working with the Association of Entrepreneurs TIcino startUP (AITI UP) to develop a series of meetings between investors and entrepreneurs. He invested in Daxtro, a start-up operating in the water quality sector.
