With a degree in Economics from La Sapienza in Rome, Paolo began his career as an auditor and then advisor to banks and insurance companies. He then became a Cobol programmer at Sogei in Rome, after which he joined KPMG in the IT audit and systems development division. He worked for a year at KPMG New York following American financial clients on risk management issues. In 2000 he became a Partner, and worked in three different business lines: risk management, actuarial services and in the last five years the customer line, focused on new marketing paradigms and customer experience. Since October 2022 he has been early retired from KPMG Advisory and currently oversees a start-up digital coach for cyclists (Bikevo) in the role of investor and managing director of the initiative.
