Born and raised in the US, Robert graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in International Relations and Arabic-Islamic Studies. After a long stint in the Middle East, he worked for many years in the logistics industry, organising and managing projects from the Caribbean to the Middle East, while generally staying in Italy.
After earning an MBA from Politecnico di Milano, where he co-founded the Financial Innovation Alumni club, Robert started working for the consulting firm BTS, focusing on innovation and strategy execution for corporate clients in Italy and abroad, mainly in the financial and manufacturing sectors.
When not in the office, Robert is an avid cyclist and generally enjoys outdoor activities. He also enjoys cooking, a passion he absorbed from his time spent in professional kitchens during his university years.
