Innovation and transformation executive, with many years of experience in the field of ICT, technologies and digital process, Gian Piero graduated with honors in Nuclear Engineering at Polytechnic of Turin. 

He began his career at Arthur Andersen Management Consultants, Accenture nowadays. This professional path allowed him to quickly become a Chief Information Officer, serving complex organizations, with a natural strong orientation to digital transformation. 

After several managerial commitments at Fidis, the industrial financial holding company of Fiat Group, he worked for SAI Insurance Group where he held, among others, the role of Director of Information Technology & Services then the position of Chairman at Gruppo SCAI. 

Later on, he was in charge as Director of IT and Processes in Seat Pagine Gialle Group from 2003 to 2009.

In 2010 he was Contract Professor for the ”IT Governance and Compliance” Master programme at SAA, the Business School of the University of Turin. In the same year, he took the responsibility of Information Technology at De Agostini, as Group Chief Information Officer. Thereafter he joined Gruppo SCAI holding the position of Corporate General Manager from 2019. 

Among his multiple professional and extra-professional activities, he is a member of Club degli Investitori and a founder of entrepreneurial experiences in the field of sustainable innovation.
